WARE 2024 BOOK CLUB OF THE YEAR!
Book clubs have played a very important part in literary history since the 1800s and we plan to honor them on our voyage. To that end, we are now accepting nominations for the 2024 WARE Book Club of the Year! Send in your nomination no later than March 31, 2024 to bring home an award during our 2024 Epilogue Legacy Award event!
Writers And Readers ESCAPE (WARE)!
Phoenix Rizen Entertainment and Virgin Voyages have teamed up to host the1st Annual Writers And Readers ESCAPE (WARE) aboard Virgin Voyages, Valiant Lady. From October 6 through October 11, 2024 we will travel to Miami (Florida), Costa Maya (Mexico), and Bimini (Bahamas) for a "sea-worldly" event featuring Masterclasses taught by New York Times Best Selling authors, Literary Cafes showcasing the work of our featured authors, a Writers & Readers Marketplace, and Panel Discussions on the art and business of writing in just about every genre. In addition, sailors will attend a live taping of the Writers Haven Show that will be broadcasted and streamed to over 2.5 million viewers and listeners!
We will also host our 1st Annual EPILOGUE Legacy Award ceremony honoring the work of the phenomenal Terri McMillan, the legendary James Patterson, and the uber amazing Stacey Abrams! While onboard the Valiant Lady, sailors can hit the casino or attend a variety of theatre shows, music events, parties, and enjoy the AMAZING food offerings!
